Mid Century Dresser Makeover

Here is a dresser I just finished and I’m pretty excited about the way it has turned out! I refinished the wood to bring out the grain because before the finish was so opaque you could hardly see it. I painted some parts a matte black, just to give the wood a bit more pop. I also went pretty bold with the graphic pattern on the top drawer. There was some damage on the top drawer that I just couldn’t fix, this is an old dresser. So I opted to modernize this piece with a graphic statement which beautifully covers the small imperfections in the wood, I think giving this piece a new lease on life. I will have this for sale at Old House Revival, (in the basement) at 324 Young Stree, Winnipeg, MB

here’s a before picture…
